    3. Strong portfolio showcasing custom theme and plugin development.
    4. Ability to create a staging environment to perform the test.

    Skills:

    1. Proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

    2. Knowledge of web design principles, UI/UX, and responsive design.

    3. Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.

    4. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

    5. Experience with e-commerce platforms and frameworks like Woo Commerce is a plus.

    6. Familiar with automation techniques which would be an added advantage.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    1. Theme Development: Create custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes to meet project requirements. Ensure themes are responsive and optimized for performance.

    2. Plugin Development: Develop custom WordPress plugins to add functionality, enhance user experience, and meet project-specific needs.

    3. Code Optimization: Optimize code for speed and efficiency, ensuring fast load times and smooth user experiences.

    4. Integration: Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools with WordPress websites as needed.

    5. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze website performance, employing tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix, and implement necessary improvements.
